APA Lawyers is a team of experienced and progressive business lawyers based in Sydney at King Street Wharf. We advise in areas including commercial transactions, dispute resolution, international law and business and estate succession planning.

We are seeking a Junior Solicitor to join our firm on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of areas.

This position may suit an applicant currently working in family law or property law seeking to potentially leverage their existing skills and expand into commercial transactional and litigation work.


About the Role

You will work closely with the firm's Principal and senior solicitors, assisting with:

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents including correspondence, contracts and court documents.
  • Conducting litigation in State and Federal Courts.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and other legal and business professionals.

About You

  • Admitted as a solicitor in NSW with a current practising certificate.
  • Possibly looking to leverage family law or property law skills in a commercial law firm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen interest in technology.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional presentation and a proactive attitude.
