Kay + Lynch Lawyers is a boutique entertainment, media and arts law firm based in Surry Hills, NSW.

We are looking for a new junior solicitor to join the team.

The role is ideally suited for candidates in their first two years of practice. Recent and new graduates are also invited to apply.

The ideal candidate for the role will be personable, practical and with an eye for detail, and will have robust written and verbal communication skills, including confidence engaging with a broad range of clients, from business executives, government clients and producers to early-career musicians, filmmakers, fine artists, and other creatives.

Candidates will have strong, demonstrable commercial or legal experience, preferably in the entertainment or media industries, and ideally have completed of one or more of the following university subjects: intellectual property law, media law and entertainment law.

The lack of one of the above qualities should not discourage applicants who possess many or all of the other requirements.

You'll be working with our two principals, Ben Kay and Tom Lynch, our solicitor, Alberta McKenzie and, on occasion, Ben's dog, Pavlova.
