Great Northern Tanks is a family-owned business established is 2017. Great Northern Tanks is a premium brand that provides bulk water storage solutions to the agricultural, industrial and hobby farm markets across Australia.

Our aim is to provide a complete solution from supply and install for any bulk water storage needs. We offer various styles of tanks including Steel Panel tanks, Pre-fabricated Steel tanks and Poly tanks, as well as water troughs, plunge pools and pumps.

We believe we play a vital role in providing Australians safe and secure water storage. As water security becomes a major concern around the nation due to underdeveloped dams coupled with increasing population and the impacts of global warming resulting in recurring severe droughts. Great Northern Tanks is committed to helping our customers to live a life without water worries.

The Role: Located in Toowoomba QLD, reporting to the General Manager, you will handle incoming inquiries for water storage solutions, developing quotations, availability, lead times - promoting our products and services.  You will respond to new and existing customers promptly, converting quotes to sales.

Main Responsibilities will include

  • Updating customer details in our CRM system to build our database
  • Developing quotations and opportunities.
  • Following up customers.
  • Helping improve processes to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Liaising with distribution and installation teams.
  • Help develop and implement our sales strategy.
  • Some travel requirements to attend sales base training and sales events. (must be able to travel interstate where required)

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experienced in using a CRM.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales.
  • Experience using MYOB Advanced desired but not essential
  • Knowledge in marketing desired.
  • Car licence is a must, HR license is desired.
  • Eagerness to continually learn and develop new skills
  • Good work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all areas
