About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture (on maternity leave), you will manage HR operations end-to-end, serving as the go-to person for everything people-related. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and enjoys working independently while being supported by a passionate and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Induction – Coordinate new starter processes, documents, and inductions

  • Training & Compliance – Organise internal training and ensure alignment with Fair Work and award obligations

  • Employee Relations – Support leaders with performance, concerns, and ER documentation

  • HRIS Administration – Maintain up-to-date employee records (Employment Hero)

  • Recruitment – Manage job ads, screening, interviews, and offer letters

  • Payroll Support – Collaborate with accounts on onboarding, terminations, and leave inputs (Xero)

  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing – coordinate personnel wellbeing activities

  • General Admin & Reporting – Draft letters, contracts, and produce HR reports as needed

About You

You are an HR all-rounder who's:

  • Confident working independently with 3 years of HR experience

  • Skilled in Australian HR legislation, awards, and compliance

  • Organised, proactive, and solution-oriented

  • Experience with Employment Hero and Xero is a plus

  • Approachable, empathetic, and able to build trust quickly

Contract Details

  • Full-time role from June to November 2025

  • Fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or permanent role depending on business growth and performance results.
