About The Role:

Join Cundaline in an upcoming rehabilitation Project, where we're committed to responsible mining and environmental rehabilitation on traditional land. Our goal is to restore the natural landscape while engaging with and respecting the heritage of the local communities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled All Rounder Operator (Dozer / Excavator / Moxy) to join our team. You will be working on long projects, with various duties and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of machinery and equipment for mine rehabilitation.
  • Rehabilitation of Waste Dumps & OSA back to country
  • GPS Dozing to +/- 100mm tolerance (Topcon)
  • Assist in restoring pits and surrounding areas to a natural state.
  • Conduct daily plant pre-start checks and perform plant preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the plant is maintained, clean and safe
  • Attending and actively participating in all Safety Meetings
  • Record and compile all paperwork and documents
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines diligently
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met

Qualifications:

  • Current license in Heavy Combination or above (HR license holders are welcome to apply)
  • MUST have relevant Australian recognised tickets (Dozer / Excavator / Articulated dump Truck Ticket)
  • Hold a Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
  • National Police Clearance (Within 6 months)
  • Must have experience operating D10, D8, Ex 30t, EX 35t, Articulated Dump Truck (Moxy)
  • 3+ years' experience in mine operations operating different kit. Preference would be construction on a mine site (bulk earthworks)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and adapt to varying conditions
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Strong commitment to safety
