About The Project:

Join us on BHP's Yarrie 10 Environmental Rehabilitation Project, where we're committed to responsible mining practices and restoring traditional land. Our goal is to restore the natural landscape while engaging with and respecting the heritage of the local communities.

The roster will be Full-time, FIFO 2/1 setup flying out of Perth. We seek individuals who are not only willing to learn but also demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled All Rounder Operator to join our team. You will be working on long projects, with various duties and responsibilities. If you're passionate about the environment and looking for an opportunity to make a difference, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of machinery and equipment for mine rehabilitation.
  • Assist in restoring pits and surrounding areas to a natural state.
  • Conduct daily plant pre-start checks and perform plant preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the plant is maintained, clean and safe
  • Attending and actively participating in all Safety Meetings
  • Record and compile all paperwork and documents
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines diligently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met.

Qualifications:

  • Current HR licence (HC or higher preferred)
  • 4WD Certificate (essential).
  • Demonstrated First Fire Attack.
  • Required Machine Operating tickets (essential)
  • Hold a Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
  • Must have experience operating D10, D9, Ex 70t, EX 50t, WC (6 Wheeler), Tipper trucks (Moxy) and Grader.
  • 3-5 years' experience in mine operations operating different kit. Preference would be construction on a mine site (bulk earthworks).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and adapt to varying conditions.
  • Strong commitment to safety

  • Must pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
