We're searching for a talented Draftsperson to join our cohesive, forward-thinking team and play a key role in bringing custom-engineered trailer solutions to life.

About the Role

As our Draftsperson, you'll be at the heart of our design process. Working alongside A team of Engineers, Production and 0perations Managers, and our manufacturing team, you'll turn concepts into precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings, ensuring each project meets our customers' needs and adheres to the highest industry standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings for heavy haulage trailers

  • Collaborate with engineers to generate creative, practical design solutions

  • Ensure all designs meet safety regulations and compliance standards

  • Update drawings as projects evolve, incorporating feedback and changes

  • Prepare detailed bills of materials (BOM) and supporting technical documents

  • Keep thorough records of all designs and revisions

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline

  • Skilled with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor)

  • Experience in heavy haulage trailer or large-scale equipment design is a major plus

  • Strong grasp of mechanical design fundamentals

  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communicator and team player
