The Role

Ready to lead a high-performing engineering squad and build products that delight customers? As a Technical Lead you'll drive engineering excellence by guiding a team of developers to deliver secure, high-quality solutions across multiple tech stacks. You'll lead by example—shaping architecture, writing clean code, and managing CI/CD pipelines and production releases with a DevOps mindset.

Core Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in native iOS development using Swift, with strong knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS app lifecycle
  • Solid experience in native Android development using Kotlin, including deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack Compose, and the Android lifecycle
  • Strong track record of integrating REST or GraphQL APIs on both platforms
  • Experience embedding or integrating responsive web content into native mobile applications
  • Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiar with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile development environments

Bonus to have:

  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) or cross-platform mobile development
  • Exposure to web technologies such as ReactJS and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests for both Android and iOS
  • Comfortable leading and collaborating with remote and distributed team

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to design and build expert-level code
  • Design & write unit, API/Contract and behavioral tests
  • Pull request cross-team approver and arbitrator
  • Set and ensure adoption of coding, quality, accessibility and secure code standards
  • Evangelise DevOps best practices, keep up with modern tooling and ensure business and team alignment
  • Assist in providing technical leadership and support to your team of engineers
  • Complete people related tasks including 1 on 1s, performance reviews, performance discussions & more
  • Show genuine care for the career development of your individual team members
