The Opportunity

We're looking for a
Lead / Senior Mobile Developer
who's excited to build and grow with us. You'll take ownership of our React Native mobile app — a key part of our Enterprise Risk Management platform that helps organisations manage risk with confidence.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver elegant, high-performing apps. You'll also help shape our mobile architecture, mentor others, and guide how we bring new ideas to life.

What You'll Do

  • Build, test, and ship beautiful, scalable mobile apps in React Native (iOS + Android).
  • Write clean, secure, and well-documented code that sets the bar for quality.
  • Partner with designers and product managers to create features users love.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise for performance and smooth user experience.
  • Lead by example — review code, share knowledge, and support your teammates.
  • Integrate with APIs and native modules, and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Help shape how we deliver mobile at Protecht as we continue to scale globally.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of mobile development experience with React Native.
  • Strong grasp of JavaScript / TypeScript and React fundamentals.
  • Experience with state management (Redux, MobX, Context API).
  • Familiarity with iOS/Android native development, testing frameworks (Jest, Detox), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Great communicator and collaborator — someone who enjoys mentoring and teamwork.
  • A passion for building products that solve real problems and delight users.
  • (Nice to have) Experience with RTK Query, GXT/GWT, or enterprise-scale apps.
