Your New Role and Responsibilities
This opportunity is for students currently studying an IT related, diploma or certification.

To achieve this, we combine cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure technologies with strong engineering practices. Customer requirements typically dictate the need for highly complex and bespoke IT solutions, which means we value engineers who are adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn.
As a Cadet Platform Engineer, your week could involve:
- Design & Build – Assisting in the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure platforms using cloud services, automation tools, and modern DevOps practices.
- Automation & Scripting – Developing scripts and infrastructure-as-code to provision, configure, and manage systems efficiently and reliably.
- Platform Operations – Helping to monitor, maintain, and optimise infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security.
- Deployment & Delivery – Supporting the creation of CI/CD pipelines, building releases, and enabling smooth delivery of applications and services.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing – Writing clear technical documentation to support operational excellence and team collaboration.
- Collaboration – Working closely with architects, engineers across disciplines to deliver and improve platform capabilities.
- Ownership – Taking responsibility for specific platform components, ensuring they meet project and customer requirements.
This role is ideal for students who are passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and building platforms that solve complex, real-world problems.

- Currently studying IT related Diploma or Certification.
- Software engineering/development skills and knowledge

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
