Cadet - Project Surveying & Formwork Support

IC Formwork is a leading provider of formwork solutions across Canberra's major commercial projects. We are looking for a motivated Cadet to join our team and begin their career in construction with a strong focus on project surveying and formwork coordination.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position designed to give you exposure to both site and office-based project activities. You'll work closely with experienced surveyors, engineers, and project managers to learn the fundamentals of surveying, documentation, and construction delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with survey setout and mark-ups under supervision
- Preparing and distributing coordinated documentation to site teams
- Supporting the team with ordering and tracking materials
- Learning to read and interpret structural drawings and translate them into site requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with as-built updates
- Supporting daily project operations and coordination tasks
About You
- Currently studying or recently completed a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related discipline
- Keen to build a career in construction, with an interest in formwork and structures
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Basic computer literacy; exposure to AutoCAD or similar software an advantage (training provided)
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
