An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our supportive team at JY Accountants. This is a full-time position based in Southport.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • Proven work experience, ideally within public practice servicing small business clients
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software (Xero highly regarded)
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • A genuine interest in financials and tax work
  • Commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for clients
  • A respectful and collaborative approach to working with others
  • Openness to learning, including recognising and growing from mistakes
  • Exceptional communication and client service abilities
