Digital CRO & Personalisation Specialist
based in
Brisbane
will play a critical role in shaping and driving the strategy and roadmap of Great Southern Bank's Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and Personalisation program across our digital channels—including the website, applications, and digital banking platforms. Working cross-functionally with teams across Digital, Brand, Marketing, Customer Experience, Product, and Technology, you will define and maintain a strategic backlog of CRO-led and CRO-enabling initiatives. Your goal: to deliver user experience enhancements that drive increased satisfaction, improve digital conversion metrics, and support the growth objectives of our Sales and Product teams.
You'll make an impact by:
Design And Delivery Of CRO And Personalisation Experiences
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of digital experiments and personalisation initiatives—from concept and design through to build, launch, measurement, and iteration. Translating business objectives into impactful CRO strategies, you will design and execute testable hypotheses and scalable experiences using Adobe Target. You'll work cross-functionally with the CRM, Paid Media, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with broader campaigns and audience strategies. You are comfortable designing and managing audiences and segments, in collaboration with analytics implementation specialists, to maximise the impact of your work.
User Research & Experimentation Testing
You craft and conduct research to surface actionable customer insights and validate assumptions, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. These insights inform your hypotheses and feed into a structured experimentation and personalisation backlog that aligns with strategic priorities. You are proficient in user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validation (PIV) to ensure accuracy and performance across all deployed experiences.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
You advocate for a customer-first, data-informed approach across the digital team and wider business. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, you work closely with teams to understand commercial goals, gather input, and deliver cohesive optimisation strategies that elevate user experience and conversion. You are a trusted partner who communicates experimentation outcomes clearly and translates insights into business value.
Performance, Reporting and Improvements
You regularly analyse and report on experiment and personalisation performance using tools like Google and Adobe Analytics. You identify opportunities for iteration and improvement, and use insights to refine the user experience across the site and digital journeys. You take an evidence-based, risk-aware approach to planning and implementation, ensuring responsible and effective optimisation practices. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Digital Experience, you contribute to a culture of continuous learning and performance uplift.
Do things differently with us
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 3-5 years' experience in delivering CRO digital optimisation programs that create material value for customers and organisation, to improve conversion rates and revenue
- Extensive experience with Adobe Analytics & Target, integrated into multiple platforms, and proven experience running successful experiments that improve digital channel performance
- Experience with developing, facilitating and reporting on optimisations delivered that builds measurable value to the business and communicates to audiences less familiar with the function with great clarity
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of UX principles, WCAG accessibility principles, customer psychology (in Financial Services is a plus) and digital customer behaviour
- Experience contributing to the health and optimisation of a multi-channel UI Design System, managed by your peers.
- Experience in writing technical requirements and working closely with development teams, responsible for delivering experimentation and personalisation components.
