Buslines Group is the largest bus operator in regional NSW, operating in 13 locations across the state with a fleet of 420 buses. As part of the Group, Bathurst Buslines operates a fleet of buses across the broader Bathurst region, carrying out both regular passenger and school bus services.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person for a permanent position to assist in both operational and administrative tasks within the organisation. The role will be based at the Bathurst office.

We are open to the right permanent part-time/casual candidate for the role as well.

The duties in the role are wide and varied, with operational support including:

  • Dealing with bus driver enquiries
  • On-road operations and timetable knowledge

And administrative support tasks including:

  • Cash reconciliation
  • Customer service
  • Student free travel system
  • Accounts payable and receivable

This role will also provide support in some major projects the organisation is currently undertaking, such as planning and timetable reviews, tracking and customer real-time information systems, as well as some marketing and market research initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-driven, organised, and reliable with strong computer skills and a willingness to be trained in specific industry programs. You will also possess good communication skills, an excellent phone manner, and previous administrative experience. You will enjoy learning and take pride in fulfilling your commitments.

A current MR (Medium Rigid) licence is preferred; however, if you do not hold one, you must be willing to obtain it.
