About the role

As a Fitter at Advanced Timber Systems, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of woodworking equipment. Working in our workshop in Raceview, QLD, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of production, from machinery setup to final product assembly. What you'll be doing

  1. Install and maintain specialised woodworking machinery
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precision in manufacturing
  3. Assemble machines components to a high standard
  4. Perform quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
  5. Collaborate with the wider production team to optimise workflows and identify areas for improvement
  6. Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

  1. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical documents
  2. Proficient in the use of hand tools and engineering machinery
  3. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
