Following recent acquisition of RUC Mining, we now operate the largest fleet of Raisedrill & Raisebore machines in Australia. This strategic integration enhances our capabilities and opens up exciting new opportunities for our team members.

As our operations expand, we're looking for skilled and motivated Diesel Fitters to join our workshop team and support the continued growth and excellence of Redpath.

About the role

As a workshop diesel fitter you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and rebuilding a wide range of mining equipment in our well-equipped workshop.

What You'll be doing

  • Collaborating with a close-knit team of experienced fitters
  • Performing major component change outs & maintenance projects
  • Preparing equipment for deployment to new mining operations
  • Working across a variety of machines and projects

What You Bring

We're looking for trade qualified diesel fitters with a passion for quality work and teamwork.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge (rebuild experience highly regarded)
  • Earthmoving equipment experience (preferred but not essential)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
