Personalised Tax Services is a successful Accounting & Taxation practice that has been in business for over 20 years. The business is committed to offering a personal, friendly, professional, and competitive service.

Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a Receptionist/Front Office team member who is currently studying towards a finance, accounting, business or law degree.

The role will give the successful candidate an introduction to working in an office and team environment and an opportunity to deal with various businesses, Government organizations, the Australian Tax Office and a wide variety of clients.

The role also allows for ample time off for studies and exams.

The successful individual will be joining a small team of professionals who work in a friendly and flexible work environment located in the King William Road Hyde Park shopping precinct just 5 minutes from the city.

Essential Attributes:

  • Studying towards a finance, accounting, business or law degree
  • Exceptional customer service skills enabling the handling of clients in a warm, welcoming and professional manner
  • Be well presented, well organized and possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and drive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving visitors and answering incoming calls
  • Scheduling of appointments
  • Attending to daily mail and emails
  • Preparation of outgoing correspondence
  • Scheduling of work, invoicing and accounts receivable
  • General administration and office duties
  • Working with our team, clients, the Australian Tax Office and other stakeholders

Training:

  • Comprehensive on the job training will be provided
