About the role

Join the vibrant team at Ironbar Saloon in the heart of Port Douglas, Queensland as a Gaming Attendant / Bar. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the gaming and bar areas. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for our patrons.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing attentive and friendly customer service to all patrons in the gaming area and bar
  • Assisting customers with gaming machine operations and payouts
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-stocked gaming area and bar
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant gaming regulations and liquor licensing laws
  • Handling cash and processing transactions accurately
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the gaming or hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Familiarity with gaming machine operations and liquor licensing requirements
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Gambling Certification
