This is a well-established and growing construction company based on the Gold Coast, known for delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, they are seeking a hands-on and experienced Company Accountant to join their team on-site and support the business through its next phase of growth.

Your new role

As the Company Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, compliance, and reporting. You will work closely with site and project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Full-function accounting including AP, AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Monthly management reporting and cash flow forecasting
  • Budget preparation and variance analysis
  • BAS, PAYG, and statutory compliance
  • Supporting the Director with financial insights and business planning

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role within the construction industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Jobpac and Procore is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across site and office teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
