The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Marketing Manager to shape and execute the marketing strategy during this transformative period. This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness, establishing a digital presence, and supporting the sales team. You'll work closely with the Marketing Officer (who holds a marketing degree) and senior leadership to strategize and implement initiatives that will define the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, encompassing branding, digital, and traditional channels.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of branding assets, including catalogues, packaging, websites, and promotional materials.
  • Build and execute a digital and social media strategy to engage trade customers and boost brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Officer, providing mentorship while actively contributing to hands-on tasks.
  • Support the sales team with targeted campaigns, collateral, and promotional activities.
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance, identifying opportunities to optimize ROI.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, ideally in B2B distribution, trade, or a related industry.
  • Expertise in branding, digital marketing, and social media strategy development and execution.
  • A hands-on approach with a passion for implementation, not just strategy.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative leader who can guide and develop junior team members.
  • Commercially savvy, with a focus on how marketing drives business growth.
