Female Disability Support Worker – Broadmeadows

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Broadmeadows.

In this role, you will provide a person-centred approach to support our client, including personal care, household tasks, and community access. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values empathy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client outcomes.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a SIL home
  • Experience in mental health support
  • Ability to follow strategies provided by Allied Health Therapists
  • Confidence in providing personal care and manual handling
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing needs

Position Details (Permanent Part-Time)

These hours are fixed and not subject to change.

Week 1

  • Tuesday: 1:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Thursday: 1:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 9:00pm

Week 2

  • Monday: 6:00pm – 9:00am (Inactive Sleepover 10:00pm – 6:00am)
  • Tuesday: 6:00pm – 9:00am (Inactive Sleepover 10:00pm – 6:00am)
  • Thursday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
  • Saturday: 2:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Sunday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

Requirements To be successful, you must have:

  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Valid Driver's Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance

Pay Rates

(SCHADS Award – Permanent Part-Time, Above Award + Leave Entitlements)

  • Day shift: $34.19
  • Afternoon shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Mon–Fri): $38.46
  • Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Mon–Fri): $39.32
  • Saturday: $51.29
  • Sunday: $68.38
  • Public holiday: $85.48
