Manager - Reporting Enablement
, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of strategic insights, data enablement, and reporting capabilities across Finance and Tax. You will lead the execution of multiple concurrent projects focused on data, analytics, and automation, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
Day To Day, You'll
- Lead a high-performing team focused on insights, enablement, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement data strategies to improve accuracy, accessibility, and usability of financial and tax data.
- Drive process excellence across Finance & Tax, including the uplift of reconciliations, workpapers, and documentation workflows.
- Support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting requests in collaboration with Finance & Tax leadership.
- Assess and implement automation technologies (e.g., RPA, ETL, low-code) to streamline key finance functions.
- Design and develop dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) for real-time insights and decision-making.
- Enhance data governance standards, including data definitions, lineage mapping, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the Data & AI team to deploy AI use cases (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection).
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal enablement teams to support delivery.
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.
While our preference is for the successful candidate to be based in Brisbane, we are equally open to considering applicants located in Sydney or Melbourne.
About You
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- Demonstrated experience in leading data and analytics projects within finance or tax functions.
- Strong understanding of financial systems (TechOne, Oracle, Workday), data architecture, and reporting tools (PowerBI).
- Proven track record in delivering automation initiatives (e.g., RPA, ETL, AI/ML applications).
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and data governance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
