The Opportunity

Are you an experienced project leader with a knack for strategic coordination in high-stakes mining environments? We're seeking a dynamic Project Superintendent to oversee critical operations. In this tactical and strategic role, you'll be the key coordinator managing multiple supervisors and work fronts, ensuring seamless project delivery from planning to execution. If you thrive on driving productivity, managing interfaces between disciplines, and delivering on-time results in a fast-paced resources sector, this is your chance to take charge of major project sections and contribute to landmark mining initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Focus on broader coordination of multiple supervisors and work fronts, overseeing sections of the project such as bulk earthworks, structural works, or services—or potentially the entire site depending on project scale.

• Plan and schedule work across multiple crews, ensuring alignment with project timelines and efficient resource allocation.

• Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations and resolve any interfacing issues between disciplines.

• Work closely with Project Engineers, HSE teams, and Project Managers to uphold safety, productivity, and cost controls.

• Take higher accountability for cost management, productivity tracking, and client interfaces, driving strategic decisions on "what" and "when" to ensure overall program delivery.

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within mining, construction, or resources projects, with a strong understanding of tactical and strategic project management.

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence is essential.

• OHS Construction Card or NRT – Construction Industry Induction (White Card) required.

• Certification in WHS Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors.

• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a more strategic role, focusing less on hands-on workforce tasks and more on planning, coordination, and delivery.

• A commitment to safety, with the ability to thrive in a rostered, site-based environment.
