What you'll do
As National Oncourse Operations Manager, you'll lead the national delivery of Tabcorp's oncourse wagering channel. This is a high-impact role where your leadership will shape the customer experience, strengthen industry relationships, and deliver commercial results.
You'll be responsible for maximising turnover, revenue and profitability by implementing business strategy and overseeing end-to-end operations. This includes budget management to ensure financial sustainability, national rostering and administration, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and safety.
A key part of your role will be partnering with race clubs and industry stakeholders to deliver a consistent, engaging oncourse wagering experience. Working closely with your State Managers, you'll drive alignment in service delivery, process consistency and performance outcomes across all states and territories.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated and experienced managers
- Drive commercial performance — maximising turnover, revenue and profitability
- Oversee national rostering, budgets, administration and project delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety and integrity
- Foster strong partnerships with race clubs and industry stakeholders to deliver a consistent, engaging oncourse customer experience
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across the network
What you'll bring:
- Extensive leadership experience in large-scale operational management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver on financial targets
- Expertise in managing geographically dispersed teams and driving consistent performance
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience in regulated industries, with a focus on compliance, risk, and safety
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Event Management or related field (preferred)
