About Iconic Care
Iconic Care is a rapidly growing disability service provider in South-West Sydney. We have a very exciting opportunity to join and be part of a growing multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants, and Support Workers.
We provide comprehensive services to all our clients and participants who are mainly from the NDIS participant base. We aim to provide a central base for our clients and participants to assist in all their care, therapy, and support needs.
We have several positions available to join our expanding team.
About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the team. You will be responsible for:
- Behavioural support assessments
- Writing of behavioural support plans
- Providing behavioural support interventions, including 1:1 support and group-based settings, in clinics, at home, and schools
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
About You
To be successful in securing this incredibly rewarding role, applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience as a behavioral support practitioner or in a similar role
- Patience and the ability to keep calm in stressful situations
- Ideally, have proficient BSP registration
- Ability to work autonomously and be part of a specialist multidisciplinary team
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents and carers.
- A passion for helping children and adults with behavioural difficulties
