About the Organisation

We're seeking a passionate and experienced leader to guide a brand-new, beautifully built service set to open soon This is your opportunity to step into a Centre Director role where you'll be empowered, valued, and genuinely supported.

You'll commence prior to the centre's opening day, working closely with a highly experienced and approachable Area Manager to help shape the service from the ground up, and that includes cultivating a new team Once open, you'll be supported by a strong leadership team, including a full-time off the floor Assistant Director who shares daily responsibilities and a dedicated Educational Leader focused on programming and curriculum.

Management Responsibilities

  • Mentoring and team management
  • Sound understanding of the Early Learning Years Framework
  • Sound understanding of service compliance
  • Experience in staff rostering
  • Qikkids software or similar
  • Strong understanding and experience in performance management
  • Experience in financial reporting and budgeting
  • Building a positive partnership with families

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma of Children Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA recognised),
  • MUST have at least 2-3 years full time experience as a centre director capacity or higher in a medium size service
  • Current WWCC or VIT
  • Updated First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma
  • High Level of written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding and application in staff management
  • MUST have Full working rights in Australia
