About the role

You will provide strategic, educational and operational leadership for a thriving community-managed, not-for-profit early learning centre that combines long day care, sessional and extended-hours kindergarten under one roof.

Collaborating with a proactive Committee, you will ensure excellence in governance, financial stewardship and compliance — while empowering your educators to bring learning to life through reflective practice, professional autonomy, and joy.

You will champion a nature- and community-rich curriculum, inspired by the service's celebrated andawarded environmental learning programs. This is a space where curiosity thrives, connection is visible, and leadership is relational.

Requirements
  • ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification (Degree or Diploma)
  • Minimum four years' experience leading an early learning service (Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor)
  • Proven success in NQF compliance, continuous improvement and people leadership
  • Proven success in leading a service through A&R
  • Well-developed business acumen, ability to interpret financial data, &L
  • Strong governance, budgeting and organisational skills
  • A values-driven approach where relationships, pedagogy and community impact come before profit
