Soul Origin Blacktown is looking for Barista/Cafe All-rounders to join our weekend team You must be fast on your feet, able to multitask, have great customer service and work well in a fast-paced environment. As a Soul Origin Barista, you'll have access to the highest quality Specialty Coffee and work with the best brewing equipment on the market to create our delicious coffee beverages. To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • Cafe experience - necessary At least 6 months – 1 year experience making coffee in café environment
  • The role requires availability on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
  • An approachable demeanor and good communication skills
  • Be outgoing and have a friendly personality
  • You must have positive attitude, good work ethic, be a team player, have good communication skills and willing to assist in all necessary daily shop duties
  • Have a passion for for hospitality, food, coffee and customer service
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment & able to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Good attention to detail and cash handling skills
  • An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • A flexible approach to work – at Soul Origin, customer service goes beyond serving customers You'll also be able to help with stock take, opening / closing the store, cleaning and preparing basic food items
  • Preferred: A minimum of 6 months fast food or restaurant experience
  • Have Australian work rights (valid for at least 12 months)

Pay range indicated is is a guide, we use the Fast Food Industry Award to determine appropriate pay rates.
