Commercial Agreements Manager

Are you a Commercial or Contract IT professional in Perth ready to take on an impactful and meaningful role? The WA Police Force is looking for dynamic Commercial Agreements Managers to join the Technology Portfolio. Currently we have one permanent full-time position and two six-month fixed term contract opportunities available.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a key role in establishing a new Commercial function.

We're seeking you, a motivated professional to join and collaborate with our team who have diverse skill sets. You will have a strategic mindset and the ability to develop actionable commercial strategies and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with our diverse stakeholders. A working knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) together with experience in Government ICT Contracts would be advantageous.

About the Role:

This is your opportunity to bridge the gap between Technology and Finance & Business Services. You will be using your expertise in commercial agreements, ICT category management and stakeholder engagement to drive real value.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key to your success in building relationships, influencing outcomes and driving collaboration across teams.

You will be a core member of the Technology Portfolio managing provider relationships, supporting the negotiation and management of ICT contracts to ensure top tier service delivery that aligns with our sourcing strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Use your solid experience in ICT commercial management, contract negotiation and provider relationship management. Supported by your knowledge of ICT service management frameworks such as SIAM or ITIL.

• Play a pivotal role in designing and rolling out our new Commercial function. Lead the creation and operational management of ICT Commercial Agreements within a multi-vendor service management framework.

• Collaborate with the Technology and business teams to streamline contract management and achieve alignment with organisational objectives.

• Provide knowledgeable guidance on commercial risk, compliance and governance.

• Be the negotiation lead for service disputes, pricing models and additional services.

• Develop your skills in category management to provide strategic insights into the local ICT industry.

• Embed our ICT category management, by building strong relationships, driving provider performance and improving value for money.
