As our Critical Risk Management Coordinator, your role is vital to the safe execution of critical risk activities. You'll be involved in the successful planning, coordination and monitoring of the critical risk activities within the Marine business of Babcock. You'll develop knowledge, experience and skills and work with an encouraging team who support your career journey.

It is a requirement of this position that you hold a current Drivers' Licence and be eligible to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

You'll be key to the delivery of our maintenance projects.

About you

You will bring all the relevant tickets and licences as well as experience in a similar environment. These will include:

  • Certificate IV in Health and Safety Management;
  • Certificate III Fire Warden;
  • Current First Aid Certificate; and
  • Previous experience in an HSE Advisor position.

You'll be a leader within the business and roll out ePAS across our programs. Within this your experience in training and support will be called upon.

This position has arisen due growth in our business and is an exciting career opportunity for you to use your qualifications and build on your experience. You'll receive strong training from subject matter experts who will enable you to advance your financial career within the Defence Industry.

Importantly, you'll conduct compliance such that all permits are issued and Critical Risk activities are in line with Babcock processes. In addition, your proactivity is vital as by the simple definition of Safety, things happen without warning and you need to be able to react, support and lead under pressure.
