Join a dynamic team as a Parabroker. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of a broking team, handling the crucial pre-submission and post-submission tasks that ensure a smooth and efficient lending process. Based in the Melbourne CBD office, you will work closely with experienced brokers, helping them with everything from preparing loan applications and collecting essential documents to liaising with clients and lenders. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Management: Prepare and package residential and commercial loan applications for submission.
  • Document Collection: Liaise with clients to gather and verify all necessary financial documentation, including payslips, tax returns, and bank statements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, lenders, and referral partners, ensuring all parties are kept informed throughout the loan process.
  • Analysis and Research: Conduct detailed loan comparisons, borrowing capacity assessments, and basic scenario analysis to support broker recommendations.
  • Compliance Support: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation.
  • Administrative Support: Manage correspondence and administrative tasks to maintain a high level of efficiency.
About You
  • Experience is Essential: You must have previous experience in a similar role within the finance or mortgage broking industry.
  • Strong Communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and can manage multiple priorities without compromising accuracy.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with loan processing software (e.g., Mercury, ApplyOnline, or similar).
  • Financial Acumen: You have a confident understanding of financial documents, including payslips, tax returns, and financial statements.
  • Team Player: You are a collaborative individual who is eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
