About Us
We are agencies of the Diocese of Cairns, Centacare FNQ and Catholic Early Learning and Care. We work cooperatively under one leadership and governance model. We have been part of the local community for nearly 40 years. Our services are practical, responsive, and grounded in Catholic social teachings.
We deliver vital community services across Far North Queensland — from early learning and care, mental health support to employment, multicultural services, aged care and disaster recovery. Behind every frontline program is a team ensuring the organisation runs smoothly, sustainably and with purpose.

You will lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and performance development, ensuring training needs are met and continuous learning is encouraged.
Externally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, represent the organisation in key forums, negotiate agreements and contracts, and advocate for improvements that benefit our services and sustainability. You will manage budgets and financial reporting across the organisation, ensure funding compliance, monitor performance outcomes, and prepare compelling business cases and funding proposals to secure additional resources.
Working closely with the Director, you will prepare high-level reports for the Board covering finance, ICT, and HR, implement contemporary reporting tools for clear and timely decision-making, and contribute to strategic governance activities that align business services with corporate requirements. You will also ensure the integrity and efficiency of our ICT systems, financial information management, and data management processes to meet changing legislative and organisational needs.
