About the Role:

As Area Manager for Ultimate Security, NSW & ACT, you'll lead a high-performing team, overseeing operations and business development efforts to expand our portfolio. Your focus will be on client satisfaction, staff safety, and contributing to our mission to deliver top-tier security services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and support staff across NSW/ACT, ensuring operational excellence and team empowerment. Monitor performance and foster career development.
  • Business Development: Acquire new clients and expand existing accounts. Collaborate with the State Manager to develop sales strategies.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary client contact, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including local law enforcement. Identify growth opportunities.
  • Operations & Service Delivery: Oversee smooth contract transitions and maintain operational documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Staff Management & Development: Lead staff adoption of IT solutions for efficiency. Mentor high-potential staff for career advancement. Oversee the recruitment, induction, and training to ensure competence and alignment with policies.
  • Administration & Compliance: Manage audits, payroll, rostering, and annual leave for assigned sites. Ensure compliance with policies and contractual agreements.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience leading security services operations and driving business development or sales initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage operations, sales, and client relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and driving service excellence.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on identifying new business opportunities and growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Relevant State Security License and qualifications.
