About the role

The Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the safe, timely, and sustainable reintegration of injured or ill employees into the workplace. You'll attend operational sites and provide detailed understanding of legislation and best practices.

You'll ensure employees have a safe return to work by coordinating RTW plans, maintaining compliance with legislation, and supporting stakeholders. You'll manage details for injury records, liaise with health professionals, and provide training and expert advice on RTW processes.

Overseeing safety systems and compliance you'll contribute to policy development and audits while aligning with Barwon Water's Beyond Zero strategy. Adept at using data to guide injury prevention and management, you'll support cultural change, and promote proactive safety practices across the organisation.

About you

You're committed to safety and creating plans for impacted staff and teams – seeing others succeed will motivate you. You'll have working knowledge of risk and compliance regulations, capable of communicating to and managing a diverse set of stakeholders.

You will be passionate about the wellbeing of others, ensuring staff feel supported in an environment where safety is the most important consideration.

Your qualifications in health and safety, coupled with your practical experience in similar roles will see you flourish in this role. You will be supported by a high performing team as your career in safety continues to grow.
