SRD Fire Protection is a Fire Services Contracting company that specialises in delivering Wet & Dry Fire Services for commercial building and construction projects throughout Victoria.
We are seeking an experienced fire services draftsperson to join our drawing office team and assist in presenting complete and detailed construction issued documentation to our clients. You'll be joining a small and dynamic office team, with support from the Directors and other experienced designers. You'll be expected to take on a high level of responsibility, in both your work output and personal development.
Your role:
- Preparation of detailed shop drawings for projects that include sprinkler, hydrant and fire detection and alarm systems.
- Liaising with builders, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Block plans and Tactical Fire Plans
- Preparation of as built drawings for submission at the completion of the projects.
- Preparation of Hydraulic Calculations.
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate experience in the Fire Services industry, (minimum 3 years)
All applicants must have experience with CAD/BIM software, with all drawings being completed in either AUTOCAD or REVIT.
