We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plant Operator to join our team and help us maintain our standards of excellence.

Role Overview:

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment on-site, ensuring all operations are performed safely and efficiently. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery and being part of a hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy plant and machinery.
  • Operate excavators, bobcats/skid steers, and loaders as required for plumbing and drainage projects.
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Assist with site setup, material handling, and logistics.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plant Operator or similar role.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of plant operator experience required.
  • Relevant tickets/certifications (e.g., HRW, MR, or Forklift if applicable).
  • Must hold current Forklift licence, Heavy Combination (HC) licence, White Card, and Heavy Rigid (HR) licence.
  • Strong understanding of plant machinery and maintenance procedures.
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.
