About You
You're organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment but you also don't mind repetitive admin work and being flexible to accommodate the changing goal posts and expectations that come from working in our industry. With strong administration skills and previous experience working in an office-based environment, you're tech savvy and the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly. You're a natural communicator, great at building relationships, and not afraid to take initiative. If you have experience with rostering, recruitment, or HR systems – even better We will also train and support you to set you up for success.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this newly created full-time, permanent role is all about being an all-rounder. One day you'll be supporting our Allocations team with rostering, shift booking and managing emails and phone calls, the next you'll be helping People & Culture with recruitment, induction and onboarding. You'll also get involved in payroll support, reporting, and general office coordination (think: making sure we have enough ink in the printer, locking the office up at the end of the day, coordinating with our cleaners and IT support etc) as well as working closely with a supportive and collaborative General Manager on calendar management, admin support and various projects (you can check out our GM's LinkedIn page here: ). At times you will also provide leave cover to various roles which will be an opportunity for career development. Every day will be different, and that's what makes it exciting.
The role will have a structured plan in place in terms of supporting our office team across all functions, but a flexible approach will also be needed. Ideally you will also have some experience using rostering systems and previous recruitment experience, but most importantly you will bring your caring and friendly personality to the role and contribute to the positive and collaborative team culture we are so proud of at iCare.
Your new team
- We are a close knit, friendly, compassionate and inclusive team of professionals. We love to work hard (it can be pretty fast paced) but have a laugh too and we are really proud of the friendly, supportive and passionate team and good vibes we have built together. It gets a bit weird sometimes, and we like that.
- We work from home 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and when we're in the office we enjoy perks like sharing a (barista-quality if we do say so ourselves) coffee and enjoying lunch (both are provided) together. We also have an awesome milkshake station
- On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we work 9am – 5pm from our newly renovated, purpose-built office space in trendy Collingwood with plenty of public transport options (heads up: parking can be tricky)
