About the role

Join the NSW Department of Education, Australia's largest education system, within the Cleaning Services team. This crucial role provides cleaning services compliance, monitoring, and support across the Hunter and Central Coast region. You'll oversee service delivery, monitor performance, and act as the key point of contact for stakeholders for cleaning services, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

• Liaise with site managers and stakeholders on service standards

• Conduct inspections, audits and monitor cleaning delivery performance

• Efficiently manage and resolve service delivery issues across facilities

About you

• Experience in cleaning services and/or experience overseeing service delivery across facilities

• Someone who is adaptable, customer-focused and versed in contract management

• Understand cleaning industry standards, compliance, and WHS obligations

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the designated region.

• Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.

• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
