About us:

Gecko Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) is a specialist facilities maintenance and management company for the federal government and various other large organisations, established in 2000, encompassing all trade services and aspects of facilities management.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, customer focused administration assistant to join our team. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week).

The administration assistant will be responsible for general data entry to our Management Information System (MIS), answering and directing incoming phone calls, updating the MIS system as necessary, communicating with our clients and service agents as required.

What are we looking for:

  • Customer service focus with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow and prioritise
  • Strong work ethic with the desire to succeed a grow with an expanding small business
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Team player who is cooperative and collaborates with others to achieve outstanding results
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
