AMH Maintenance are currently seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. AMH Maintenance is a Yeppoon based company providing auto-electrical, mechanical, fabrication and hydraulic solutions to the Central Queensland and Bowen Basin regions.

About the role

Our company is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focussed administration assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide support to the administrative team, as well as senior technical roles as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • directing all incoming phone calls and visitors to reception for customers, suppliers and the general public;
  • completing general administrative tasks such as filing, maintenance of office supplies and purchases, general data entry, basic document preparation, printing, scanning;
  • managing purchase orders and job numbers including job cards and service sheets and reports;
  • maintenance of training records and registers, keys, equipment registers and site document requirements;
  • providing direct administrative support to senior members of our team.

About you

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral with a polite phone manner
  • Proven time management and organisation skills
  • Basic ability to use computers and softwares such as Microsoft Office, PDF programs and XERO (desirable but not required)
  • Be punctual, proactive and reliable
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Hold a current drivers' license
