AMH Maintenance are currently seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. AMH Maintenance is a Yeppoon based company providing auto-electrical, mechanical, fabrication and hydraulic solutions to the Central Queensland and Bowen Basin regions.
About the role
Our company is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focussed administration assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide support to the administrative team, as well as senior technical roles as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- directing all incoming phone calls and visitors to reception for customers, suppliers and the general public;
- completing general administrative tasks such as filing, maintenance of office supplies and purchases, general data entry, basic document preparation, printing, scanning;
- managing purchase orders and job numbers including job cards and service sheets and reports;
- maintenance of training records and registers, keys, equipment registers and site document requirements;
- providing direct administrative support to senior members of our team.
About you
- Strong communication skills both written and oral with a polite phone manner
- Proven time management and organisation skills
- Basic ability to use computers and softwares such as Microsoft Office, PDF programs and XERO (desirable but not required)
- Be punctual, proactive and reliable
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Hold a current drivers' license
