About the role

Are you a Registered Migration Agent (RMA) or Migartion Lawyer who's looking for a truly refreshing challenge?

This is your chance to join an investor-backed technology company on a mission to transform the migration experience from stressful to exciting. 

In this pivotal role, you'll bring your A-game, deep knowledge, and sharp skills to ensure their clients successfully secure their visas. You'll also play a crucial part in shaping their innovative technology platform by providing invaluable insights to our Product Team.

What You'll Do
 

You'll spend the majority of your time on expert Case Management:

  • Advise clients on complex visa pathways, eligibility criteria, and strategic approaches.
  • Lead and support initial consultations with prospective clients.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of visa applications, meticulously ensuring compliance with Australian immigration laws and striving for an exceptional success rate.
  • Review and submit visa and sponsorship applications.
  • Liaise effectively with the Department of Home Affairs on behalf of our clients.
  • The remaining time will be dedicated to strategic initiatives and product development:
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations and Product Teams to streamline and scale processes.
  • Drive the development of internal policies, educational resources, and best practices.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, including engaging webinars, insightful articles, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Provide critical input to the Product Team on the technology platform, leveraging your hands-on experience as an RMA to enhance its functionality and user experience.

Who are we looking for?

  • Migration lawyer or Registered Migration Agent (active MARA registration) with MIN 3 years of practical and commercial experience.
    Strong and broad knowledge of Australian immigration law : Partner and Employer Sponsored visas are a MUST 
  • Sharp, structured, and strategic thinker, you are able to distil complex legal material into clear, concise summaries.
  • Confident communicator, you are comfortable sparring ideas, presenting insights, and advising both colleagues and clients.
  • High standards of professional integrity, client service, and attention to detail.
  • Tech-literate and curious, you are comfortable with (or quick to learn) tools
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining clarity and structure in your work.
