About the role

As a Data Migration Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing data migration initiatives, and working closely with clients to ensure projects delivered are timely and within scope. You'll draw on extensive resources and adopt a multidisciplinary approach to unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Taking charge on the end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to modern SaaS platforms
  • Working closely with stakeholders to build comprehensive data migration strategies that meet business objectives and technical requirements
  • Designing and leading the development of overall migration architecture and approach, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data integrity
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring risk mitigation and successful project outcomes
  • Ensuring data governance, compliance, and best practices are upheld throughout the process
  • Resolving data quality, integrity, and compatibility issues, and ensuring that continuous improvement of migration methodologies, tools, and processes are delivered

Who you are:

  • Experienced in data migration and proficient in SQL and ETL tools
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables; be able to oversee and deliver multiple cloud projects
  • Adept in leading or mentoring teams in a collaborative environment
  • High adaptability and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
  • Exceptional communication skills; be able to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement
