Rydges South Bank is a highly-regarded 4.5 star, award-winning hotel boasting 304 rooms and suites, multiple food and beverage outlets, and conferencing facilities. The hotel is located on Grey Street in South Bank neighbouring the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
About the Role:
We have an incredible opportunity for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our Hotel Kitchen team. Our team of professional chefs create dishes focused on great produce, served in a clean and contemporary way.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring highest quality in the preparation and presentation of menu items
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Liaising with senior chefs on duty
- Holding down a section during service
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Certificate Ill in Commercial Cookery
- Completion of cookery apprenticeship
- Previous experience as a CDP, Demi Chef or similar position
- Sound culinary skills and knowledge
- Proficiency in all sections of the kitchen
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Attention to detail Positive attitude and excellent team player
