Introduction

Cater Care is looking for a full time Chef at one of our key educational sites in Ingham, QLD. 

Being a Chef in Education offers you a real way to make a difference whilst remaining in an industry you enjoy. (Great news if you're looking for a fresh start.) Serving the Education sector requires a passion for creating great food, with the emphasis on ensuring meals are balanced to support the health and nutritional needs of growing students. Getting a start in this industry opens doors to develop greater skills in menu management, large scale food production and more. 

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a full time Chef at one of our key education sites in Ingham, QLD.

Roster: Monday-Friday 10.00am - 6.30pm (8.00 hours per Day) 

  Sunday 10.00am -6.30pm (8.00 hours) 8.00 TIL



Description

What This Role Involves:

Prepare & present high quality food for staff and studentsAdherence to food hygiene & safety practicesSupporting ongoing and seasonal menu developmentAssisting the broader team as required

Skills And Experiences

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentPrevious experience in operating kitchens Strong communication skillsPride in personal appearance & hygiene
