About The Role
We are seeking an
Environmental Coordinator
to join our growing team and support the delivery of environmental management and monitoring projects across a range of sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with
2-3 years of experience
who is ready to take the next step in their career, gaining hands-on experience in project coordination, environmental compliance, and on-site environmental support.
Based in Wagga Wagga, Goulburn, Yass, or Tumut, this is a 6-month casual position with the potential for ongoing opportunities.
You'll assist in coordinating environmental activities, conducting site inspections, supporting compliance and monitoring programs, and contributing to quality reporting and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of environmental management projects to meet client and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct site inspections and environmental monitoring during project construction and operation
  • Assist in preparing Environmental Management Plans and compliance documentation
  • Undertake research, data collection, and field investigations to support project delivery
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain project records
  • Monitor contractor compliance with environmental requirements and permit conditions
  • Support field teams and ensure all work is delivered safely and in accordance with WHS policies
  • Collaborate with environmental specialists and engineers to identify and implement practical environmental solutions

About You
Your an emerging environmental professional looking to grow your skills and experience in a supportive and dynamic consulting environment. You bring initiative, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for environmental management.

Skills And Experience

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2-3 years' experience in environmental coordination, compliance, or monitoring (consulting or construction environment preferred)
  • Working knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
  • Organised and proactive with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience in environmental monitoring (soil, water, air, or noise) is highly regarded
  • Construction or renewable energy project experience is an advantage
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
