The Opportunity

Birdsnest is on the hunt for a Social Media Content Creator who can turn ideas into magic

You'll be at the heart of our digital storytelling — dreaming up and executing scroll-stopping campaigns, editing engaging videos, and bringing our brand to life online. You'll help nurture our vibrant birdsnest community, sharing stories that connect, inspire and celebrate women everywhere.

The Role

Reporting to our Head of Social Media, you'll create, edit and manage engaging content across our social platforms, helping us connect with our community and showcase our latest fashion in fun, creative and authentic ways.

Based at our head office in Cooma, NSW, you'll collaborate closely with our marketing and styling teams to create content that reflects the heart of the birdsnest brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit video content for Instagram, Meta, YouTube and other platforms.
  • Capture and schedule social content including campaign moments, behind-the-scenes stories and live events.
  • Assist with campaign ideation and project content planning.
  • Monitor social inboxes and engage with our online community.
  • Support live hosting and live content planning.

Who We're Looking For

  • Social-media savvy and up to date with current trends.
  • Creative, organised and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
  • A strong communicator who loves collaboration and storytelling.
  • Skilled in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro with a sharp eye for video and visual rhythm.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with some graphic design skills (preferred, not essential).
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Confident using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini to boost creativity and workflow.
  • Experience or an interest in digital media buying would be a bonus
