Part-time, 30 hours/week | Preston, Melbourne

With our own tech team, strong online presence, and passionate people, we're growing fast - and we're looking for a motivated, highly capable and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join us.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is quick, physically fit and strong, efficient and very well organised, and is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment working towards deadlines - you will be given autonomy to improve processes and own the role.

Please note: you must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25+ kg boxes & product and capable/licensed (ideally full unrestricted, P2 accepted) to drive an automatic work van.

About the role:

This is a permanent part-time position. The role will suit someone who has experience in retail, supermarkets, pick/packing, factory work or any detail-oriented & initiative based physical role. Hours:

30 hours/week

Monday 7am-12pm, Tuesday 7am-3pm, Wednesday 12pm-5pm, Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-12pm

Our team requires the above hours (and will assume all applicants have this availability), however if you would like to pitch any weekly alterations, please detail this is your cover letter for consideration. (Note: in general, our operating hours are 7am - 5pm Mon-Fri & 7am-3pm weekends).

Pay: $27.34 per hour, plus Super**

**Pay rates are above award rate and are commensurate with experience

What you'll do:

• Keep our warehouse organised and running smoothly
• Unpacking, process, and receive stock and deliveries
• Coordinate with suppliers and couriers as needed
• Support stock control, stock takes, and wastage reduction
• Help with flower prep, plant care, and on-site logistics
• Pitch in with general warehouse duties to support the whole team

What you'll bring:

• Current Australian drivers license (ideally full unrestricted license)
• Ability to follow, analyse and improve systems and procedures
• Exceptional time management skills
• Very well organised with high attention to detail
• Able to work as a positive and helpful team member and both give and receive constructive feedback
• Able to easily lift heavy buckets to and from shelves (up to 25+kg daily)
• General excel & Google Docs knowledge
• Consistent and reliable work ethic
• Full Australian working rights to 30hours/week required

Bonus points for:

• Knowledge of flowers an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
• Experience with ordering and costing of stock
