The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable
Oracle Database Administrator (DBA).
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of Oracle database systems. This position requires someone who thrives in dynamic settings, can seamlessly switch between tasks and excels at incident response, monitoring, and tuning rather than project-based servicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze database performance metrics and execute tuning strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data within Oracle database

Technical Expertise

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Database versions primarily versions [e.g., 12c, 19c]) across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Proficiency in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard, ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and RMAN (Recovery Manager).
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL programming for troubleshooting and optimization purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to database incidents under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex issues related to performance or availability.
