**SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

The position requires:

- Design, Manage & build Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server Databases
- Oracle standalone
- Oracle RAC
- Oracle ADG
- Golden Gate is added advantage
- Knowledge and Hands-on on OCP and along with managing PostgreSQL on OCP
- Design & build MySQL / PostgreSQL Databases
- MySQL Standalone
- MySQL Master-Slave configuration / DR setup
- Design & build Microsoft SQL Databases
- Standalone
- Always On for SQL Server
- Replication or Log shipping on SQL Server
- Oracle Enterprise Manager, Ops Centre knowledge
- Develop and maintain system documentation related to the database configuration
- Perform Patch & release management
- Perform database refresh using backup and storage solution’s like BCV, Snap-shot or Data Domains
- Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity
- React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate
- Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system
- Knowledge of following Operating System environments
- Redhat/Oracle Linux
- IBM AIX
- Oracle Solaris
- Windows Servers

**INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: -**

The position requires:

- Proven ability to deliver results as required within specific time frames.
- Ability to work within a team in a cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to work after hours.
- Ability to lead the team technically during a major incident
- Ability to handle major incidents and escalations along with interacting with the customer.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- The position requires:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as Database Admin on Oracle, EDB Postgres, MySQL, Microsoft SQL.
- Formal IT-related qualifications.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
