About the role

This is your opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Your main goal will be to provide customer service and administrative support, all while working towards your Certificate III in Business Administration.

In this role, you'll be assisting our Technical and Recreation Services team with various tasks, including helping our pool and stadium staff, managing customer enquiries and performing routine administrative activities like correspondence and data entry. We're looking for someone who is ready to jump in, learn and make a positive impact

Our ideal candidate

We're on the lookout for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and bring their best self to our team.

  • A willingness to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration.

  • A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Organisational skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.

  • Basic computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new software.

  • A current NSW Driver's Licence (or the ability to obtain one).

What we are offering

  • This is a full-time temporary job (35 hours a week) with flexible work hours to help you balance your schedule.

  • This role is offered as a traineeship under the local government employment conditions. Weekly earning will align with the applicable rate depending on your education level and time since leaving school.

  • 12% superannuation
